By offering errand services, Treasure Your Time gives people more time to do other things.
Anslow runs errands, does basic landscaping work, watches homes for vacationing homeowners, walks dogs, among other services.
This winter, Anslow said grocery shopping has been in high demand.
“They will give me a shopping list and I’ll go get what they need,” he said.
Anslow, who offers services primarily in the southeast section of Dayton, said that he’s also weeded and mulched flowerbeds, done light handyman services, mowed lawns, taken care of fish, and driven documents to other cities.
His website lists a variety of services – including dry cleaning pick-up, plant watering, package pick-up, leaf blowing, and waiting for delivery and repairmen.
“I love helping people,” Anslow said.
If interested in his services, a customer calls him to discuss fees and mileage rates. Depending on the job, the rate may be hourly or a flat rate. He said he usually asks for 24-hour notice, but has done some tasks on the day of request.

How the business started: After running errands for his family one day, Anslow noted that he thought, "If I need to get all those errands accomplished and barely have time to get them done, I am sure there are other people out there that just don't have time to accomplish these tasks. Why can't I do these jobs for them?"
He said he researched several concierge and errand-type businesses before starting his business.
