USPS to set up temporary mobile units for tornado impacted residents

The Postal Service has set up temporary mobile units over the next two weeks to serve customers that were impacted by the Memorial Day tornadoes and can’t travel to the post office.

The unit will also sell stamps and can only accept cash. Customers must provide their delivery address and a valid photo ID to pick up their mail.

The unit will be parked in several locations on the below dates:

  • June 18 and June 25: 2400 Turner Road in front of Fire Station #94 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2447 Ontario Avenue next to Northridge United Baptist Church from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • June 19 and June 26: 5425 Salem Avenue next to Office Depot from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • June 20 and June 27: 3820 Kemp Road at the Kemp Shopping Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
