No injuries reported after car hits CVS in New Carlisle

UPDATE @ 12:26 p.m.:

No one was injured after a car drove into the front door of a CVS in New Carlisle Tuesday morning.

A woman was trying to park at the Main Street store when her foot slipped off the brake and hit the gas.

The pharmacy’s drive thru window is still open. It is not clear if the store will reopen once the car is removed from the doors.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office and New Carlisle Fire Department are handling the incident.

No citations will be issued, according to the sheriff’s office.

INITIAL REPORT:

A car hit the CVS on South Main Street this morning.

The crash was reported at the store, 201 S. Main St., at around 11:35 a.m.

The car struck the front door of the business and its not clear if there were any injuries.
