Visit the Air Force museum online

Many government agencies have taken down their websites as part of the government shutdown.
But not the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.

The museum is temporarily closed, but its website is still up and the virtual tour remains available.
People can also still shop online for goodies at the Air Force Museum Foundation's Museum Store.

The foundation is located within the museum, and it raises funds via the museum shop, book store, membership program and other ways.

Shoppers have a wide range of selections to purchase online, including "unique, aviation-themed merchandise," the foundation said.

But also, the store is selling a variety of Doolittle-themed items as the museum prepares for the final reunion and toast of the Doolittle Tokyo Raiders. The event takes place at the museum on Nov. 9.

People can visit the museum store online at store.airforcemuseum.com, or call 937-256-6245. Store personnel are available to help take orders.
