Fire crews arrived to find the rear of the building filled with fire, but soon determined the flames were isolated to a walk-in freezer in the overhang portion of the building, Dayton District Fire Chief Scott Rowlett said.
The fire was extinguished quickly and damage was isolated to the portion of the building where the freezer was located.
A person lived in the area adjacent to where the fire started, but that person was not injured and never had to evacuate their home, Rowlett said.
The fire remains under investigation and no official cause has been determined, however an initial investigation leads firefighters to believe the flames were sparked by an electrical issue, the chief said.
