SPRINGBORO
Leaf collection to begin Oct.5
Springboro’s leaf collection program will begin Monday, Oct. 5 and last through Friday, Dec. 11.
To keep the leaf collection on schedule, residents are asked to follow the following guidelines:
- Do not rake anything except leaves out to the curb for collection. Branches, sticks and other waste can clog or damage the leaf vacuums.
- Rake leaves to the curb or tree lawn, but not into the street where they will block traffic.
- Have leaves raked out to the curb at least two days before crews are scheduled to arrive. Due to weather conditions, equipment problems and the volume of leaves, crews may be as much as two days early or two days late.
- Do not park vehicles within 20 feet of leaf piles.
