Logan Cole, the victim in a West Liberty-Salem school shooting, has recovered to the point of no longer needing a back brace.
Cole, 17, was shot twice on Jan. 20 in a bathroom at West-Liberty Salem High School, according to police.
Thursday, doctors removed a back brace Cole was required to wear for the past three months, according to a post from his mother’s Facebook account.
Cole’s mother said she was grateful for her son’s recovery and thankful for the support her family has received since the shooting.
