Postal worker taken to hospital after being chased by dog

A postal worker fell and injured his head in Middletown today while being chased by a dog, according to a witness at the scene.

Paramedics responded to the 2100 block of Winton Street this afternoon and transported someone to Atrium Medical Center.

Dispatchers said they couldn’t release any information on the man’s injuries or how he was injured.

A witness said the postal worker, while running backward, fell and hit his head on the sidewalk.
