Woman trapped in car after Huber Heights crash

DAYTON — A woman was trapped in her car for a short time following a three-car crash on Kitridge Road near Brandt Pike on Monday.

According to Huber Heights police, a white Ford Focus was attempting to cross Kitridge from the parking lot of CVS to the parking lot of Walgreens when it was struck on the passenger side by a Nissan Altima traveling west on Kitridge.

The Focus ended up on its side and a third vehicle was hit during the collision.

According to WHIO-TV the woman driving the Focus was six-months pregnant and had to be cut out of the car. She was taken to hospital as a precaution and there were no other injuries reported.
