Xenia PD, Greene County task force raid turns up suspected drugs, guns, arrest

A 31-year-old Xenia man remains in jail on drug-related charges after police, using a search warrant, seized an unspecified quantity of suspected illicit narcotics and "several" firearms.

Jeffrey Heath was arrested Thursday at a residence in the 600 block of Monroe Street as part of an investigation into suspected drug trafficking at that address, Xenia police said Thursday in a prepared statement.

Neither Xenia police nor the Greene County ACE Task Force offered any specifics about the quantity or type of narcotics were seized. They shared no details either about the number and type of firearms seized.

Thursday afternoon, Heath was booked into the Greene County Jail on felony charges of drug trafficking and weapons possession as a felon. Bail was set at $1,000.
