The 16-year-old boy who died Tuesday morning after being hit by a train in Clark County has been identified.

The teen was identified as Jaxon Kramer, of Fairborn, according to a Clark County Coroner’s Office investigator.

The incident was reported just before 8 a.m. in the area of Black Lane and Dayton Springfield Road.

Kramer had been reported missing by his parents earlier in the morning shortly before the incident.

The Clark County coroner and crews from Mad River Township responded to the incident.

Kramer’s cause of death remains under investigation.
