61-year-old Dayton motorcycle rider killed in Vandalia crash

A 61-year-old Dayton man was killed Thursday evening in a motorcycle crash on the ramp from Interstate 70 West to Interstate 75 South.

The motorcyclist was identified as Paul G. Bonham, who was operating a 2016 Triumph Bonneville, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Dayton Post.

Bonham, who was wearing a helmet, went off the right side of the ramp around 5:15 p.m. and struck a guardrail.

He was separated from the motorcycle and landed a short distance from it.

Bonham was pronounced dead on scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
