A Long John Silver's restaurant in Riverside has shut down permanently.

Employees of the long-time restaurant at 4916 Airway Road in the Airway Shopping Center just east of Woodman Drive were offered positions at other Dayton-area Long John Silver’s locations, a spokeswoman for the Louisville, Ky.-based chain told this news outlet today, May 5.

The seafood chain operates eight other Dayton-area locations. Customers of the Riverside store say a sign on the door of the closed restaurant refers customers to a Long John Silver’s in Fairborn.
