In the August round of approvals last week, the medical board certified Achint Choksy of Fairborn, Ashok Devatha of New Carlisle, Harold Edmiston of Arcanum and Kevin Watt of Dayton.
Ohio’s program will require patients to get a recommendation from a certified physician holding an unrestricted MD or DO license who has completed at least two hours of continuing medical education in diagnosing qualifying conditions, according to the medical board.
Physicians now cleared to recommend treatment with marijuana are also located in Beavercreek, Centerville, Enon, Mason, Middletown, Springboro, Springfield, Washington Twp. and West Chester.
