The neighbor hurried to the home and performed CPR on the infant, resuscitating her, King said.
“The neighbor’s the one who was able to get the child responsive again and then the fire department took over when they got there and they were able to get her stabilized,” he said.

A baby-sitter rescued an unresponsive infant this evening from a Monroe swimming pool.
The 1-year-old was in the pool, wearing a flotation device that had tipped over, according to a statement issued late tonight by the Monroe Police Department.
The baby regained consciousness before medics arrived. They were called around 5:30 p.m. to the 100 block of Overbrook Drive.
The infant was taken by CareFlight to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center as a precaution, police said.
The incident remains under investigation.
FIRST REPORT, Aug. 4
A medical helicopter was called for a 1-year-old baby reported not breathing after being taken out of a swimming pool.
Medics were called around 5:30 p.m. to the 100 block of Overbrook Court in Monroe. The child was in a pool, but dispatchers could not confirm whether the incident is a near drowning.
CareFlight was called for the child, dispatchers said.
