Fire officials said when crews arrived, there was a small fire burning in one of the rooms on the first floor, and that the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
The house is not occupied and has no utility service.
Residents said a child was seen nearby around the time of the fire, and that the child is known to play inside the vacant house.

Flames and heavy smoke were reported tonight coming from a vacant house.
The fire was reported around 6 p.m. at a two-story in the 800 block of Sycamore Street.
There were no reports of injuries, now how the fire broke out.
