New Paris Home Charred By Kitchen Fire

Authorities said a neglected dinner is to blame for setting a home on fire near New Paris.

Now, the people who lived in the two apartments on Route 40 have to find a new place to live. One woman said three days ago she considered buying renter's insurance, but never did.

Authorities said the fire started in the kitchen.

No one was injured in the fire.
