Deputies were called to North Star-Fort Loramie Road after a person was found on the ground and possibly struck by a vehicle.
According to deputies, Scott Klahn, 27, of Lake Odessa, Mich., was trying to cross the road after leaving Eldora Speedway when he walked into the path of a car driven by 44-year-old Rhonda Tauber of Hamlet, Ind.
Klahn was flown to Miami Valley Hospital. The accident remains under investigation.
