A Middletown man, Neddy Brown, 34, of Grand Avenue, was found leaning on a fence post in the 2000 block of
Linden Avenue, and police discovered he had a warrant through the Middletown Municipal Court and he was charged with two counts of drug abuse, one count of drug abuse/instruments and one count of drug paraphernalia/scales.
Two lawn chairs were broken and stacked near the front door of a residence in the 700 block of 15th Avenue. The resident said the same thing occurred to a neighbor.
A woman said her food stamp card, valued at $256, was stolen and sold for about $125. She suspects a friend of the family, and when the card was returned, there was $4.50 left.

A Middletown woman said her wallet and $500 in cash were stolen out of her purse inside her home in the 0 block of Iglehart Street.
A 50-inch TV, valued at $2,000, and a 32-inch TV, valued at $500, were stolen from a residence in the 2900 block of Flemming Road.
When the Middletown Area Salvation Army, 4440 Marie Drive, was unloading a donation of clothing, workers discovered an unloaded .38 caliber revolver. Police said the weapon was rusted and inoperable.

A purse, valued at $200, and a Sony camera, valued at $99, were stolen from a residence in the 2400 block of Grand Avenue.
