The Wright State University Student Alumni Association will hold the first Nearly Naked Mile on Saturday across the campus quad of WSU.

The event will allow runners to run around the campus as close to naked as legally possible for a good cause. The Student Alumni Association will collect clothing from the runners for the Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley. Donations of shirts, pants, shorts, shoes, and other items are encouraged of both male and female clothing.

Holly Gersbacher, assistant director of alumni relations, said, “The idea came from a conference that staff had attended.” Runners can strip down to a minimum of bathing-suit attire. “If your comfort level will not let you go to a bathing suit minimum, you can strip down to your own level of comfort,” says Gersbacher.

Participants are invited to the afterparty of free food and the opportunity to network with Wright State Alumni immediately following the event.
