Silverman Headed Back To Prison

A father who molested his 4-year-old son is headed back to prison to finish serving a five-year sentence.

On Monday, a judge resentenced Doron Silverman. This action came after the Ohio Supreme Court made an historic ruling last week.

Silverman's son died in a fire set by his own mother before his testimony could be heard at a trial.

Silverman was convicted, but an Appeals Court overturned the conviction.

The state's high court ruled that even though the little boy was dead, his statements made to an adult should be heard.

Doron Silverman will receive credit for time already served. He was also labeled a tier 2 sex offender which requires him to register every 180 days for 25 years after he gets out of prison.
