14-year-old taken to hospital after struck by Camaro in Franklin

A 14-year-old was riding his bike on Harrison Avenue when he was struck by a Camaro Monday night, according to a release.

The initial investigation revealed a 14-year-old boy was riding his bike northbound on the alley that connects Roberts and Harrison Avenues. The juvenile continued through the alley without stopping and was struck by the Camaro.

Witnesses on scene told police the driver of the Camaro was traveling slow, and the juvenile darted out in from of him so fast he had no time to stop, read the release.

The 14-year-old was taken to Children’s Hospital in Springboro with non-life threatening injuries.
