In fact, on this week's Cloudy with a Chance of Podcast, NewsCenter 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs discussed how this record-breaking wet year has had a lasting impact on on the rivers across the Miami Valley.
“This has been the wettest 12-month period of all time for the area,” she says.
Her guest, hydrometeorologist Ryan Fliehman explains, “Our rivers have been elevated above what would be a climatological normal...we’ve been well above normal.”
