West Carrollton has reached a tentative three-year deal with its police officers and detectives union.

The agreement between the city and the West Carrollton Police Association calls for a 1.75 percent wage hike in the first year with reopeners in the second and third years, documents show.

It provides the same pay increases of those for other city union groups, records indicate.

The agreement is scheduled to go before West Carrollton City Council on Tuesday night. Union membership is set to vote on the plan this week, records show.

The previous contract of the police union, which represents 17 patrol officers and detectives, expired in December of 2016, records show.
