The lease extensions run month to month and can be terminated by either party with 30 days’ notice, West Carrollton Economic Development Director Michael Lucking said.
The city bought the plaza, formerly home to Roberds, last year as part of 13.75 acres along Dixie for about $1.8 million. West Carrollton plans to demolish the center at the southwest quadrant of Interstate 75’s Exit 47 - considered prime land by the city - in hopes of redeveloping the land to jump start a multi-million entertainment district.
