LONG, Noreen M.

Age 69, of Beavercreek, OH, passed away December 7, 2020. She was born October 28, 1951, in Dayton, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Nora Wheeler and by her sister,

Merriam Weakley. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 49 years, Jerry; her 2 sons, Brian (Terri),

Matthew (Mindy); her brother, Chuck Wheeler; and close friends, Pat Lowe and Marlene Sheley. She had 7 dearly loved and spoiled grandchildren, Morgan, Malachi (Karen), Carson, Hayden, Avery, Brayden, and Julianne. Noreen worked 19 years at Lofino's grocery store and volunteered her time for the past 35 years to help run Kettering's Holiday at Home festival. She was a lover of all animals especially all of her treasured dogs she owned throughout her life. Noreen truly valued spending time with family and her smile could light up a room. She loved to travel, especially to her favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World, with her kids and then her grandkids. Noreen was a local casino legend here in SW Ohio and loved to host family bingo games. Family to receive friends 4:00PM to 7:00PM, Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – Beavercreek Chapel. Funeral Mass 10:30AM, Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at the Ascension Catholic Church, 2025 Woodman Dr, Kettering, OH 45420. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to 4 Paws for Ability Inc., or Hospice of Dayton.
