Janelle Barker said Press Coffee Bar had offered its drip coffee for $1 a cup since it opened its Oregon District location, 257 Wayne Ave., 11 years ago.

“We are roasting. A lot more is going in the coffee, and we are getting it from a farm,” Baker said. “It is probably the best deal you can get on this kind of coffee.”
The deal is drink-in only and only available at the original Press location. The coffee is $2.50 a cup to go.
Barker and her husband Brett opened a second Press location at 732 Watervliet Ave. in Belmont in April.

Barker said the coffee deal is not available at that location due to differences in the brewing process.
