Luckily for us, Dayton is an eating (and drinking) town.

With that in mind, here are three amazing snacks that you’ve got to try this weekend.

But keep in mind, you’ve got to get in early -- most of these are first-come, first-serve, and they’re available for a limited time only.

1.) Chicken & waffle cone

Must we really say any more? Lily's Bistro is known for its incredible fried chicken. So can you imagine what happens when you take fried chicken, some mashed potatoes, and roll it up in a delicious waffle cone? A snacker's ultimate bliss. Get it for a limited time during District Day in the Oregon District.

2.) Beer popsicles

Okay, just hear us out on this one. The frozen treats come in two flavors: Mint Cookie Stout, with a touch of milk; and Orange Saison 484. It's part of a special beer-infused menu at Fifth Street Brewpub, available through Aug. 27.

3.) Beer pickles

Cheese and beer. It's just as good a combo (if not better) as cheese and wine, to be honest. Try the "Pickle Board" with Icebreaker IPA cucumber pickles, Deluge Pale Ale pickled egg, and Henry the Fifth Ginger Beer strawberry jam, served with brie wedges and bistro crackers at Fifth Street Brewpub.
