No liquor hearing for new restaurant by Meadowlark & Wheat Penny owners

Springboro City Council voted not to ask for a hearing on the liquor licenses sought for the new restaurant planned in a 5,000-square-foot space in the Settlers Walk Shopping Center.

The owners of Meadowlark Restaurant in Washington Twp. and Wheat Penny restaurant in Dayton are planning to open a new restaurant there.

The vote last Thursday should expedite the state in issuing the beer, wine and spirits licenses sought by the owners.
