Carroll posts first win at Alter

Carroll defeated Alter 71-59 in a boys high school basketball game on Friday night. It was the first time the Patriots had won on the Knights’ home court in program history.

Beau Austin paced the Patriots (8-2) with 23 points and David Ivey added 16. Ben Schwieterman scored 12 points for Alter (5-4).

Franklin 81, Oakwood 46: Luke Kennard poured in 35 points with nine rebounds and Franklin (10-1) connected on 15 3-point baskets. Stefan Stropki led Oakwood (7-2) with 16 points.

Chaminade Julienne 50, Fenwick 32: Alan Vest paced CJ (10-1) with 19 points and Myo Baxter-Bell added 11.

Xenia 88, Springboro 74: Brent Bauer tallied 22 points and Khiyani Harris added 21 for Xenia (6-2). Nick Cross led Springboro (4-8) with 18 points.

Lebanon 66, Miamisburg 64: Matt Russell finished with 31 points, shooting 13-of-14 from the foul line for Lebanon (5-4).

Beavercreek 64, Northmont 55: Jackson Back tallied 16 points and Chris Williams added 14 for Beavercreek (3-8).

Greenville 59, Piqua 51: Clay Guillozet led Greenville (8-1) with 20 points and Allen Tabler added 16. Storm Cook scored 18 points for Piqua (6-4).

Trotwood-Madison 77, Sidney 67: Andre Foster tallied 21 points for Trotwood (5-4). Cameron Gallimore had 21 points in a losing effort.

Troy 59, Vandalia 54: Romello Yaqub had 16 points and Tre Hudson added 15 for Troy.

Carlisle 73, Eaton 50: Daulton Butler led Carlisle (9-1) with 28 points and Jai Milton added 23.

Madison 77, Waynesville 71, OT: Brad Malott scored all 21 of his points in the second half to help Madison (7-1) rally.

Greenon 59, Graham 57: Jacob Whetsel scored 21 points for Greenon (6-5). Devon Allen had 26 points for Graham (3-7).

Tri-Village 93, Bradford 21: Tyler Van Winkle tallied 18 points and Colton Linkous had 14 points with 12 rebounds for Tri-Village (9-0).

Twin Valley South 54, Bethel 40: Wes Cole paced TV South (7-3) with 21 points.

St. Henry 54, New Knoxville 47: Ryan Mikesell poured in 36 points with nine rebounds for St. Henry (7-1).

Russia 66, Fairlawn 43: Gavin Hoying and Jacob Pleiman each scored 11 points for Russia (11-0).

Versailles 58, Parkway 35: Kyle Ahrens led Versailles with 17 points.

New Bremen 78, Fort Recovery 49: Carson Manger paced New Bremen (6-3) with 27 points.

Temple Christian 59, Milford Christian 52: Olivia Mamula tallied 26 points and Grace Mamula had nine points with 16 rebounds for Temple Christian (5-2).
