Cleveland Browns cut Paul Kruger amid several moves

Paul Kruger was among the players the Cleveland Browns released Monday morning.

One day ahead of an NFL-mandated cut to 75 players, the Browns terminated the contract of the veteran defensive end/linebacker along with defensive lineman Nick Hayden and quarterback Austin Davis.

The team waived Sean Baker, E.J. Bibbs, Josh Boyce, Travis Coons, Ed Eagan, Robert Hughes, David Reeves and Corey Tucker.

They put Nike Lawrence-Stample and Glenn Winston on the injured reserve.

The moves left them at 76 players.

Cleveland’s fourth and final preseason game of 2016 can be seen on WHIO-TV Ch. 7 and heard on AM 1290 and News 95.7 WHIO radio on Thursday night. Kickoff against the Bears is set for 8.
