Craig Carton, radio co-host of former Bengals QB Boomer Esiason, arrested

Craig Carton, Boomer Esiason’s co-host on the ‘Boomer and Carton’ show, was arrested Wednesday over an alleged ticket scam to pay back gambling debts.

The alleged scam, worth $5.6 million, has Carton and co-defendant Michael Wright facing up to 45 years of jail time, with charges for securities fraud, wire fraud and conspiracy.

"Behind all the talk, the Carton and Wright show was just a sham, designed to fleece investors out of millions ultimately to be spend on payments to casinos and ... other personal debt," said U.S. Attorney Joon Kim.

Boomer informed his audience Wednesday morning.
