CrossFit Workout Event At WPAFB

The WPAFB CrossFit workout program will sponsor its second "Fight Gone Bad CrossFit competition" on April 30 at 3 p.m. in the Jarvis Gym at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

The CrossFit workout program, based on the workout programs of many police academies, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide, was introduced at the gym as part of Col. Brad Spacy, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Commander, quality of life improvement initiative.

Fight Gone Bad completion is comprised of three rounds of five minute workouts with a one minute rest in between. Judges will ensure everyone performs the movements to the same standard and scoring is based the total number of reps/calories burned on the rowing machine in the three rounds.
