Dunbar High School senior Terrance Landers has verbally committed to play football at Purdue University after decommitting to Bowling Green. A 6-foot-4, 200-pound combination receiver/defensive back, Landers is a three-year standout for the Wolverines in both football and basketball. He also received offers to play football from Iowa, Pittsburgh, Miami, Ohio and Kent State.

Landers is a cousin of Wayne senior Trey Landers (signed with Dayton to play basketball) and Robert Landers (freshman defensive tackle at Ohio State). He was recruited by Purdue linebackers coach Marcus Freeman, who also excelled in football at Wayne and OSU. – Marc Pendleton
