Five Dayton football players named to All-PFL preseason team

One day after the Dayton Flyers were picked to finish fourth in the Pioneer Football League preseason poll, five UD players receive all-conference preseason honors on Wednesday.

• Junior running back Jake Chisholm, a first-team selection in 2019 who ranked second in the league in rushing yards per game (112.9).

• Senior quarterback Jack Cook, a second-team selection in 2019 who will begin his final season as the FCS active leader in passing efficiency (162.0).

• Senior safety Brandon Easterling, a Fairborn High School graduate who was named a FCS All-American in 2019 when he led the country in solo tackles per game (7.5).

• Redshirt sophomore Zach Rumpke, who plays the Flyer position and ranked third on the team in tackles (66) in 2019.

• Sophomore placekicker Sam Webster, who made 8-of-9 field goals and 58 of 60 PATs as a freshman in 2019.
