Greeneview’s Bradds turns to writing during recovery from injury

“Obviously I’m a little biased toward the mids,” Bradds wrote, “but I truly think that this level of basketball is some of the best in the country, and it doesn’t get the coverage that it deserves. Playing within the mid-major ranks for four years, I have seen the ups and downs of what it is all about. I’ve played against many great teams and many of those legendary coaches we all know and love, and now I’m excited that I will be able to be on the other side of the court covering these games.”

Bradds, a 6-foot-7 forward, hurt his knee in May during a NBA tryout. He will need six to eight months to recover. He finished his college career in March with a school-record 1,921 points. He ranks fourth in NCAA history in field-goal percentage (66.7).
