Following Monday night’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks, LeBron James had enough of Charles Barkley’s commentary.

Earlier in the week, Barkley called out both the Cavaliers and James about this season’s roster and how, if they want a repeat title, they need another playmaker.

Barkley also called James out last week, saying he was inappropriate and whiny and noting the Cavaliers have given him everything he wanted, pointing out the team has the highest payroll in NBA history. Barkley went on to question if James even wanted to compete if the Cavaliers are stacking the team with J.R. Smith, Iman Shumert and Kyle Korver.

During the interview with ESPN, James let his feelings fly:

"I'm not going to let him disrespect my legacy like that," James told ESPN. "I'm not the one who threw somebody through a window. I never spit on a kid.”

James told ESPN that during his entire 14-year career he has represented the NBA the right way and respected the game.

Towards the end of the interview, James had an invitation for Barkley:

"And if this makes him want to talk to me, the schedule's out there," James said. "He knows every road arena I'll be in. Don't just come up to me at All-Star and shake my hand and smile.”
