He spent one season at Ohio State after six seasons at Oklahoma State, where he was offensive coordinator.

Yurcich, a native of Euclid, Ohio, was third in command at Ohio State behind head coach Ryan Day and offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson.

Day said he brought in Yurcich to add some “Big 12 influence” to his offense, and quarterback Justin Fields ended up being named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and Quarterback of the Year in his first season as a starter.
