HS Results 12/19: Alter boys score 66 to best Graham

The Alter boys basketball team put up a 16 point victory over Graham, winning 66-50.

Alter was led by Connor Bazelak with 21 points. Bazelak shot for two 3-pointers on the night.

Dom Ruffolo added on 11 points, shooting for three from the three point line.

Brady Uhl tacked on eight more points, six coming off of three point shots.

Tyler Powell put up 10 points to lead Graham in the loss, while Brevin King tacked on nine, all coming off of threes.

Boys Basketball

Butler 58, Sidney 51: Kort Justice put up 18 points in the win, while Andre Gordon netted 18 points and seven assists in the loss.

Catholic Central 54, Greenon 41: Logan Coppock tallied 14 points for Greenon.

Centerville 40, Beavercreek 29: Ryan Marchal netted 12 points to lead Centerville in the GWOC win. Brayden Walther tallied 11 in the loss.

Covington 50, Arcanum 49: Braden Miller and Zach Parrett each put up 15 points in the Covington win. Carter Gray amassed 21 in the loss.

Dayton Christian 66, Jefferson 35: Matt Welker led DC with 20 points, while Anton Webb tacked on 14. Londen Tinch scored 13 points for Jefferson.

Edgewood 55, Monroe 53, OT: Garrett Gabbard led Edgewood offensively with 10 points, while Tristan Backas led all scorers with 21 points in the Monroe loss.

Fairbanks 76, Mechanicsburg 34: Gavin Horn tallied 16 points in the win for Fairbanks. Joey Mascadri and Mack Delong each scored nine in the loss.

Greenview 70, Madison Plains 29: Gabe Caudill narrowly led with 15 points, while Nick Clevenger came in a close second, shooting for 14 in the win.

La Salle 64, Lakota West 53: Riley Haubner put up 26 points for La Salle in its win. Max Kiker added 14 points to his season total for West.

Legacy Christian 46, Stivers 41: Keano Hammestrom and Erik Uszynski co-led in the win with 12 points each.

Mississinawa Valley 55, Tri-Village 53: Ethan Bowman put up 21 points in the narrow win.

New Miami 67, Oyler 57: Deanza Duncan shot for 20 points in the New Miami victory. Ricky Thomas led Oyler with 15 points.

Newton 57, Milton 45: Ryan Mollette had 16 points to lead all scorers.

South Adams 38, Fort Recovery 37: Payton Jutte scored 18 points for Fort Recovery.

Talawanda 47, Eaton 41: Ty Hornsby netted 13 points to help Talawanda. Grant Sullender led Eaton with 14 points in the loss.

Triad 63, Northeastern 26: Hadley LeVan shot 8-for-11 from the foul line and put up four from the three point line to earn 28 points in the Triad Victory. Alex Lockwood netted 14 for NE.

Tri County North 54, National Trail 32: Dillon McCullough led all scorers with 25 points in the win. Dalton Mason tallied 13 in the loss.

Twin Valley South 62, Miami East 45: Willie Bowman put up a whopping 32 points to aid TVS in the win. Will Hudson and Austin Rutledge each scored nine in the loss.

Urbana 84, Northridge 63: Jace Underwood led all scorers, putting up 21 points in the Urbana win. Robbie Turner’s 16 points were enough to lead Northridge in its loss.

Wayne 70, Miamisburg 54: Darius Quisenberry netted 18 points in the win, while L’Christian Smith followed close behind, adding on 17. Jason Hubbard netted 15 for ‘Burg and Savon O’Neal chipped in 14.

Girls Basketball

Bradford 57, Northridge 25: Skipp Miller continued her streak of leading Bradford in scoring, tallying 22 points on the night.

Dunbar 53, Twin Valley South 27: Jazmon Perkins led with 14 points and three steals in the win. Aria Cole tacked on 12 points and seven assists. Mylan Crews and Kelsie Shafer each put up nine in the loss.

Hamilton 47, Edgewood 29: CiCi Riggins netted 22 points in the win over Edgewood. Cierra Lipps and Emma Allen each recorded eight points in the loss.

New Bremen 49, Fort Loramie 41: Paige Jones netted 17 points in the NB win. Taylor Roteman put up 10 in the loss.

Waynesville 77, Carlisle 25: Rachel Murray continued leading Waynesville, adding 17 points to her season total. Cami Glover scored six in the loss.

Boys Bowling

Greenon 2180, West Liberty-Salem 2134: Matthew Barton rolled the high game of 193 for Greenon in their win. Mike Price bowled a 226 for WLS, but it wasn’t quite enough to earn the W.

Girls Bowling

Ben Logan 2314, Indian Lake 1411: Kaylee Nicholas rolled a high game of 191 with a 356 series to lead Ben Logan to victory. Kayla Snyder tacked on a 185 game in a 342 series.

Greenon 2205, West Liberty-Salem 1797: Hailee Clifford led WLS with games of 160 and 191 for a 351 series. Jillian Kirkham tacked on games of 152 and 128 for a 280 series.
