Jacob, a 2019 recruit, took an official visit to UD last week and listed Dayton among his final five choices Sunday along with Rhode Island, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma State and St. John's.
Jacob is a 6-foot-7 forward from Ossining, N.Y. He played for Woodstock Academy in Woodstock, Conn., this past season.
Dayton has two scholarships open for the 2019-20 season, and if it doesn’t fill them, it will have four open for the 2020-21 season.
