Tyler Boyd has caught the eye of one of the best Bengals WRs ever

Tyler Boyd has a long way to go before he becomes a bona fide receiving threat in the NFL, but the Bengals rookie caught the notice of a franchise legend Thursday night.

Johnson shared his thoughts after Boyd made three big plays in the Bengals' 30-14 win over the Lions in their second preseason game.

Boyd was drafted amid high expectations out of the University of Pittsburgh, and he figures to have a great opportunity to develop playing opposite superstar A.J. Green.

It’s only preseason, but he appears to be on the right path so far.
