The former Ohio State star was in limbo after an acrimonious holdout wiped out training camp for him.
It also included a strange press release from the team essentially slamming Bosa for not accepting their most recent deal, and Bosa’s mother sharing at least one negative story on the fiasco on Twitter.

On Friday, a Bleacher Report story also described executives of other teams as having a good laugh at the Chargers based on their handling of Bosa, a consensus All-American defensive end and the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year in 2015.
The sides weren’t exactly arguing about money as that is essentially locked in by the NFL’s current CBA, but there were disagreements on when Bosa would be paid and the Chargers would still owe him all of his remaining salary if they cut him and he signs with another team.
NFL insiders at ESPN and the NFL Network reported some of the details, indicating ultimately both sides gave at least a little when all was said and done.
The Chargers are set to open the regular season in 13 days in Kansas City.
