The White House went orange Sunday, as pumpkins, hay bales and cornstalks decorated the South Portico.

President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump  celebrated Halloween at the White House by handing out candy to kids dressed as fairies, astronauts and first responders.

The first couple also got to greet a lot of VIPs as at least one miniature Cleopatra and a number of superheroes made their way through the line to get commemorative Hershey bars and Twizzlers.

Trump and the first lady were not in costume, but they chatted and posed for photos with the kids as the U.S. Air Force Band, the Rolling Strings, played themes from "Harry Potter," "The Phantom of the Opera" and "The Addams Family," among "other spooky tunes," according to pool reports.

The White House said the event was attended by military families and local children.
