Scattered flurries will continue, with a passing snow shower possible overnight, otherwise, skies will stay mostly cloudy, StormCenter 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.
“Temperatures will drop into the lower 20s and any wet surfaces could become icy,” Elwell said. “Additional flurries could also create some slick spots by morning.”
Saturday: Mostly sunny skies are in the forecast with a warming trend getting underway. Highs will climb back into the upper 40s by the afternoon.
Sunday: The day will start with lots of sunshine but clouds will increase during the afternoon. It also will be quite windy with gusts out of the southwest up to 40mph or higher at times. Highs will soar to near 60 degrees by late in the day. A cold front will arrive late Sunday evening bringing with it a chance for showers.
Monday: A chance for rain, snow or a mix will be possible early in the morning as temperatures start out in the lower 30s. Clouds will break during the afternoon with breezy, cooler conditions. Highs will be in the upper 40s.
Tuesday: Skies will start out partly cloudy with gusty southwest winds pumping up much warmer air. Highs will reach back into the upper 50s by late in the day. A cold front will arrive in the evening bringing with it the threat for rain. A rumble or two of thunder will also be possible as the front approaches. Behind the front, much colder air will move in late Tuesday night and the rain will mix with and possibly change to snow overnight as temperatures fall back through the 30s.
