Tropical Storm Humberto to mainly impact Bahamas

Tropical Storm Humberto is expected to have a minimal impact on the northern Bahamas over the weekend, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Jesse Maag said.

The storm is anticipated to drift along the east coast in open water, intensify into a low category hurricane, then drift out to sea towards Bermuda.

Aside from Bermuda, no one is anticipated to feel major impacts from the storm.

Winds at last check are sustained at 40mph (74mph needed to reach hurricane status).
