TUNE IN: The Rubi Girls set to premiere a virtual version of their annual holiday show this weekend

This year, the Rubi Girls will be ringing in the holiday season with a virtual version of their famous annual show.

“The Show Must Go On” will be streamed virtually this Saturday, Nov. 28, at 7:30 p.m. through a link that is sent via email to those who purchase tickets to the event.

Tickets to the virtual comedy and drag show can be purchased by visiting Rubi Girls’ website and are available at several different price points, depending upon how elevated you wish your experience to be. A link to the show and 2021 Rubi Girls calendar will set you back $25, while all of the above and a Rubi Slipper Cocktail from Tender Mercy and a charcuterie plate from Salt Block Biscuit will cost you $75. However, for those who feel like truly celebrating the holiday season in style, the Rubi Girls will be offering a premium party package that includes two Rubi Girls calendars, two cocktails, two charcuterie plates and a Rubi Girls swag bag.

Calendars can be shipped to any destination in the United States or picked up at the Rubi Girls Clubhouse, located at 1207 Wayne Ave. in Dayton, on Friday, Nov. 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or on Saturday, Nov. 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

After the original airing of the show, it will still be accessible to all who purchase tickets.

Luckily, for those who miss out on purchasing tickets to the virtual event, Jimmie’s Ladder 11 will also be hosting a virtual watch party of the event on Sunday, Dec. 6, from 6-9 p.m. At the watch party, guests can get even more into the spirit of things with Rubi Girls-themed food and drink specials and giveaways.

There will limited socially distanced seating available at the virtual watch party, with a four guests per party minimum. Tickets are $20.20 per person and reservations can be made by calling 937-424-1784. All of the profits from the event will be donated to the Rubi Girls.
