Many people strive to shop local during the holiday shopping season but knowing where to start can be overwhelming.

Each Dayton-area boutique is unique and personal, offering something different than the last. Shopping for fashionable and stylish gifts at a local spot supports small business owners who are more than happy to help customers find the perfect gift for just about anyone on the shopping list.

Be advised that many, not all, of the shops in this guide offer in-store or online shipping. Check the boutique’s website for more information on shipping options.

Also, this is not an exhaustive list. Did we miss your favorite local boutique to shop? Let this reporter know at sarah.franks@coxinc.com and we’ll be sure to add it to the list.
