Slyder’s Tavern to temporarily close

“Sorry Folks, but we are taking a break,” began the Facebook post. “After almost two years of challenging times and not really skipping a beat, we need to recharge our batteries. After a busy holiday season, I’ve made a decision that we be closed from January 6th through the 16th to give everyone a rest. Thank you for your understanding and loyal support. We look forward to seeing you soon.”

Last month, Slyder’s was announced as the winner of the “Best Burger” category and the 2nd place finisher in the “Best Cheap Eats” category of the 2021 Best of Dayton contest.
