If Flyers or Raiders win it all, this business will give furniture away

If either the University of Dayton Flyers or the Wright State University Raiders win a national championship, Morris Furniture Co. Inc. says it will give away $1 million in furniture and mattresses.

Shoppers who make a new qualifying purchase of “$1,999 or more” between this coming Friday and next Monday in one of Morris’ Dayton, Beavercreek, Fairborn or Centerville Morris Home, Ashley HomeStore, Better Sleep Shop or Morris Outlet showrooms will get their purchase free if either school’s men’s basketball team wins the championship, Morris said.

The national men’s championship game is April 6 in Atlanta.

At this writing, the Flyers are nationally ranked at No. 4, sitting atop the A-10 with a 14-0 conference record and a 25-2 overall record. The Raiders are also at first place in their conference, a game ahead in the Horizon League, with a 14-3 conference record and a 24-6 overall record.

Complete rules are posted in Morris showrooms and at morrisathome.com/WIN.

Morris Furniture ran a similar promotion in late 2014 before the Ohio State Buckeyes won the college football championship in January 2015. Nearly $1.5 million in furniture and mattresses were given away then, the company said.
