Graeter’s unveils 5 new ice cream flavors

Graeter’s — which operates ice cream shops in Oakwood, Centerville and Beavercreek and sells its products at dozens of Dayton-area grocery stores — will unveil five new flavors tomorrow, March 5, the Cincinnati-based company announced Tuesday.

The new flavors are: Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, Black Raspberry Gelato, Dark Chocolate Mint Crunch Gelato, Toasted Coconut Gelato, and Bananas Foster Gelato.

The Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Chip Ice Cream is available now in ice cream shops and in grocery stores, according to Graeter’s spokeswoman Alexandra Brazie. The new gelato flavors will be introduced individually in Graeter’s ice cream shops throughout the spring, and will appear on grocery store shelves later in the spring, Brazie said.

Graeter’s Ice Cream, founded in 1870, operates 40 retail stores, and its ice cream is sold in more than 6,000 grocery stores in 46 states. It also offers online sales.
